- Mark McKay Review added: 2018.09.30★ ★ ★ ★ ★Currently renovating my house and inbetween careers, I attended the basic and advanced domestic carpet fitters course and also the domestic vinyl fitters course.
The entire course is extremely well structured, with power point, handouts, pamphlet and practical stages being utilised to provide a very efficient and professional course. This is all delivered by Kevin who has a wealth of experience 30+ years. The only mishaps I had were from my aiming of the hammer, everything else seem effortlessly easy and enjoyable. A credit to Kev.
Being ex-military I know the importance of good delivery and the mentorship in ensuring the student learns at the best pace and having never attempted to lay a carpet in the past my final day was installing a fitted staircase and landing carpet. I now feel competent enough to fit all the carpets and vinyl into both my own house and my rental property which'll save me a lot. More impressively, this is taught at such a standard that I could be self employed should I wish to go down that route.
A truly professional course with an outstanding outcome. I highly recommend UKFA!
